So what did Abraham Lincoln do? He was a pretty busy chap by all accounts, not least due to his penchant for extremely tall hats – not particularly relevant since he was already 6 feet 4 inches tall. He didn’t live a long time – pretty par for the 1800s course really – managing to make it to 56 years old before being gunned down by an actor.
He did all manner of things, but despite being a lawyer, he was pretty popular – especially with the 4 million slaves that he freed.
